PDA Deployment and Order Management

MDS will act as a Single Mobility Provider for our customer, offering hardware procurement, initial configuration delivery to the end user.

Scope of Devices

• IOS Devices
• BlackBerry
• Android
• Windows Mobile Devices

Ordering and Upgrading Devices

• All requests will be initiated through a pre-determined medium. ie: form email, website login, phone, helpdesk.
• All requests for new devices or upgrades will be approved by determined guidelines.

 Configuration of Devices

• All devices will be configured based on previously agreed upon specifications prior to leaving the MDS office and sent to the end user. This includes security, email and firewall settings.
• Devices can be configured to a general or specific profile.

Order Management System (OMS)

MDS tracks all orders, upgrades and deployments. OMS can be accessed by MDS as well as our customer so they have the ability to oversee all aspects of their mobile device deployments.
